Today I asked the Lord what He wanted me to share with you. I heard: "Remind them, I am on the throne no matter what. Tell them to tether their lives to Mine. I was God in suffering. I was God in triumph. I was God on the cross, in the grave, and at the right hand of My Father. "If My Church hopes in Me, they cannot be disappointed in an outcome of an election. The disappointment will pale in comparison to knowing Me. "This fact must be established before any word of election results. My Church was contending for a nation, not personal comfort. Suffering is promised in My Word therefore why would any true Believer escape it?
For it has been granted to you on behalf of Christ not only to believe in him, but also to suffer for him. (Phil. 1:29)
But even if you should suffer for what is right, you are blessed. “Do not fear their threats; do not be frightened.” (1 Peter 3:14)
Then I heard, "PLAN FOR THE WORST. PRAY FOR THE BEST." This puzzled me as it didn't seem to line up with faith for what God wants to do regarding the election. But then He reminded me of what Daniel said when he and his buddies refused to bow to Nebuchadnezzar in chapter 3. "If we are thrown into the blazing furnace, the God we serve is able to deliver us from it, and he will deliver us from Your Majesty’s hand. But even if he does not, we want you to know, Your Majesty, that we will not serve your gods or worship the image of gold you have set up (vs. 17-18). Daniel acknowledged that God could deliver them, but even if he didn't, Daniel would not bow to Nebuchadnezzar's gods (vs. 17-18). DANIEL'S HOPE WAS NOT IN AN OUTCOME, BUT IN HIS GOD. And this is exactly where the Lord wants us - determined to live for Him and trust Him no matter who is in office. God is addressing idolatry in the Church. We cannot go into this final stretch prior to the election with idolatry in our hearts for a man. We would be a defiled Bride and He can't have that. So I urge you, repent if you have placed your hope and comfort in Trump. See yourself living boldly with your hope in Jesus no matter who is elected. And then we can stand in faith as a glorious Bride without blemish, spot, or wrinkle
